How do I know if my laptop will fit in your bag?
Our laptop bags are available in a range of sizes. They can often fit laptops from 12” to 17” and many bags can accommodate different laptop sizes due to their multi-fit cradle. Measurements are based on your laptop’s screen size and can be found in the individual product descriptions.
Do the laptop bags have tablet pockets?
Many of our laptop bags feature a dedicated compartment for tablets up to 12.9” that offers specialised protection while in transit. Check the product description to ensure your desired bag has a specified tablet compartment.
Are Targus products shockproof?
We design our bags and cases to offer the ultimate standard in device protection. Many tablet cases feature military-grade drop protection. In addition, many of our bags feature high-density foam padding as part of our SafePort® Air System, which will keep your laptop secure during sudden drops. Bags are also equipped with our DOME Shock Dispersion foam that disperses pressure away from your device and protects your laptop screen. Your devices should be transported with care, but our protection systems provide optimal safety to protect your products against life’s little mishaps.
How do I get the maximum protection for my tablet?
Many of our cases offer military grade 4' drop testing (MIL-STD 810G)* and IP54 Certification Requirements** for dust and water resistance. However, our Rugged collection definitely offers the maximum protection for your device.
*As tested by an independent third party applying MIL-STD-810G, Method 516.6, Procedure IV.

Do the docking stations have USB ports?
Yes! Our USB docking stations come with up to five USB ports, and many other models have three or more that can accomodate USB A-2.0 and 3.0 and USB-C.
Do the docking stations have laptop chargers?
A power deliver docking station allows you to charge laptops and peripherals in one convenient location.
Can the docking stations be used as a laptop stand?
If a docking station comes with ergonomic wedge design, it can be used as a laptop stand. These can also be identified by the ridged texture on top shown in the product photos.

Are there certain brands that your bags, cases and accessories are compatible with?
While our laptop bags are designed to carry any laptop, we also offer bags customised to Chromebooks and Dell laptops. Bags are designed within a specific range of sizes, rather than for a specific brand.
For tablet cases, we can accommodate any iPad since the iPad 2, as well as Samsung Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab S4 in specific models.
What brands are the docking stations compatible with?
Our docking stations are compatible with Android™, Chrome OS, Linux, Mac OS® and Windows® operating systems.
How Can I Find Accessories That Are Compatible with My Specific Device?
Enter the name of your device on our Accessory Finder tool. A drop-down menu will provide supported models of your device. Select device model to see compatible Power Accessories, Privacy Screens and Cable Locks.
How Do I Know Which iPad I Have?
Targus has a page to help you work out which model your iPad is, found here. On the back and bottom of your iPad, you can find the model number along with more information. Look up your model number on our reference table to determine which type and generation of iPad you have. Then, navigate to “Shop by Device” for accessories that will fit your iPad.
Do I need an account to purchase a Targus product?
We have an account system to serve you better. In your account, you are able to view your order history and manage your address details all in one place. To create an account, click on My Account and then select Create Account. If you’d prefer a quicker checkout process, you can complete your purchase without creating an account.
Shipping and Returns
Where Do You Ship?
If you purchase from the UK, German, French or Spanish sites, we only ship to addresses in those countries. To purchase Targus products in other countries, go to our international page and select your country.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
When you order on Targus.com in Europe, your Targus products should arrive to you within 3-5 working days. Shipping is free on orders €50 or over.
How Can I Track My Order?
We ship our products via DPD. When your order ships, you will receive an email containing a link to your order status and shipping information, including the tracking number. If you have your tracking number to hand you can check the status of your delivery here.
What Is Your Returns Policy?
Christmas returns: for purchases made between the 24th November and 17th December 2021, Targus will accept returns up until the 17th January 2022.
For purchases made outside of this period you can return your product within 14 days of receiving it for any reason at all - no questions asked. We will refund the cost of the product(s), but you may need to pay the return shipping costs. You can learn more about our return policy here.
Do Targus products come with a warranty?
We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all bags and cases. You can read about the requirements here. It protects against certain types of damage and specific parts, depending on the product type. We also offer limited warranties on tech accessories and docking stations.
Do I need to register for the warranty?
You do not need to register for the warranty.
How can I make a warranty claim?
If you need to make a warranty claim, please contact Customer Support. If your claim falls under our warranty guidelines, we will supply a return label to ship the product and receipt to us. We review the product, replace the fault parts or provide an entirely new product, and ship your replacement item back to you. Find out more here.
